The Hulk finds himself washed up in Antarctica after attempting to escape the military. Utterly exhausted, the bitter cold causes him to collapse and he falls asleep, reverting to Bruce Banner. Just in time, his body is discovered by scientists from Polar Station One. The group introduces themselves as Doctor Chen, Howard Tonkins and Jane Campbell. As they ask who he is and how he got to the continent, Bruce hesitates before saying his name is Ross and he has no recollection of how he arrived. However, the scientists remain unconvinced by his amnesia and reluctance to answer.
